    What is a gear pump?

    ​The gear pump consists of two gears, the pump body and the front and rear covers to form two enclosed spaces. As the gears rotate, the volume of space on the side of the gear displacement increases from small to large, creating a vacuum to suck in the liquid, and the volume of space on the side of the gear engagement increases the larger it becomes smaller, and the liquid is pushed into the pipeline. The intake cavity and the ejection cavity are separated by the engagement line of the two gears. The pressure at the output of the gear pump depends solely on the resistance at the pump output.

    What do you know about the use of gear pumps?

    ​The gear pump is simple and compact in construction, small, light, good in manufacturability, cheap in price, strong in self-priming, insensitive to oil pollution, large in speed range, able to withstand shock loads, convenient in maintenance and reliable in operation.
